Face 聽 A Singaporean safe dealer introduced to China by Chinese clients
The various trade fairs held in China have become excellent platforms for many foreign exhibitors to enter the Chinese market. Vincent Lee, Store Manager of Orient Crown, has been in the custom safes business in Singapore for 16 years. In April this year, before he first came to China for business, he had already established links with the Chinese market through online platforms.
Lee told China Youth Daily in an interview that their safes are mainly customized to suit different customers, like customers need any special custom shape, then they can build for them.
"We have something to store like lift type and bulletproof type. Our products also have settings to prevent burglary and fire," Lee introduced.

Under the introduction of Chinese clients, in order to better understand the dynamics of the Chinese market and the preferences of Chinese consumers, Lee learned that China held the fifth China International Consumer Products Expo in Hainan, which was China's only national-level exhibition focused on consumer goods. This year's expo emphasizes innovation and global collaboration, showing more Chinese opportunities to the world, and also brings opportunities from various countries to Hainan and transfer them to the Chinese mainland market.
Since 2013, China has been Singapore's largest trading partner for 11 consecutive years. China is also Singapore's largest export market and largest source of imports. Singapore is China's fifth-largest trading partner among ASEAN countries. China and Singapore are strengthening economic ties under multilateral and bilateral free trade agreements. The China-Singapore Free Trade Agreement Further Upgrade Protocol has been in force since December 31, 2024.
"China and Singapore have a very good relationship. I don't see any problem in doing business together," Lee said.
Lee felt China's openness at the fifth China International Consumer Products Expo and exchanged contact information with many Chinese businessmen who were interested in working with him. He also plans to visit many Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen in the near future to understand Chinese customers' preferences and deepen the Chinese market.
